

After it finishes you should be finished. If everything is correct press the "Replace Driver" button and let it install the drivers. With any mandatory set up full, run Dolphin, and examine Direct Join beneath GameCube Adapter within the Controller Settings, then restart. Updating to a more moderen model is critical. It should automatically fill out the rest of the boxes for you but just to be safe, the "Driver" box to the right of the green arrow should say "WinUSB (v.16385)" and the "USB ID" boxes should say "057E" and "0337", WCID should have an "X" in it. The GameCube controller adapter just isn’t supported in variations older than 4.0-4599. Once checked, select the drop-down menu and locate the device labeled "Gamecube For Switch". In the Zadig program, at the top click the "Options" button at the top and select "List All Devices". Once you download and install Zadig, launch the program and connect your Nyko adapter to your PC (I plugged both USB cables into my PC but you should only have to use the black cable for it to work as the grey one is only used for rumble functionality). So, to connect and use your Nyko adapter on PC to use with Dolphin what you have to do is download a program called Zadig. While there are generic programs and drivers to get GameCube controllers working with any emulator, including Dolphin, skidau decided to take it to the next level, skipping over pretty much all of those steps.
